Is your website responsive?
As of May 2013 56% of American adults have a smartphone, and over 60% of these users use their phones to go online. Out of this percentage 34% of cell internet users go online mostly using their phones, and not using some other device such as a desktop or laptop computer. The reality is this number is increasing everyday! If your website is not responsive then the possibility of users leaving your site increases. I personally don’t usually have the patience to navigate on my phone through a website that isn’t mobile friendly.
The value of responsive websites
Responsive websites do just what the name implies–they respond to the device the end user is using and adapt accordingly. Responsive sites look great on desk tops, laptops, ipads, iphones, and other mobile devices. Responsive websites add value by adapting to the end user. They help keep users on your site longer, which can turn into potential sales or leads.
